"A friend of mine spoke to me about Dr. Matt and the Graston Technique after I had had surgery for carpal tunnel [syndrome] which was not improving even with physical therapy. "I came to Dr. Mendillo because I have fibromyalgia and could barely function. I met him at a Health Fair. After a very thorough exam, he discovered several things that weren't good, some of which I didn't know. My adrenal gland wasn't functioning properly and I had too much acid in my body. He provided me with some supplements and I now feel much better.
My hip was really bothering me, so he sent me for an X-ray. He found that I have bursitis in my hip, but also noted a mass on my right ovary. He wasted no time and immediately ordered an MRI, which confirmed it. He then sent me for an ultrasound. This wasn't even my primary complaint, nor was it his specialty, but he took the time and the interest to get all my testing done. I went to see my ob/gyn with his results and after her physical examination, could not find anything. If it wasn't for Dr. Mendillo, I would have never known. Within two weeks, I had surgery and they removed a mass the size of an egg. Thankfully, it wasn't malignant.
Dr. Mendillo continued to follow up with me and gave me a lot of support. He really got me through the whole ordeal. As for other problems, I can move. I haven't felt this good in 5 years. I can sleep through the night. I am amazed that I suffered all this time with fibromyaligia and in three months time I would say I'm 80% better.
As well as being a brilliant doctor, he is a wonderful person. He always takes the time and makes you know that he really cares. His office is always immaculate and his staff is very pleasant."

"In 1949 I was hospitalized with Polio. As a result, pain and muscle weakness developed gradually in my neck and back areas, and worsened with the passing of time. I have been treated by several chiropractors and physical therapists who offered various techniques such as Cranial Sacral Therapy, Acupuncture and others hoping to relieve my pain and help me perform my daily activities more easily. These techniques, however, along with the traditional spinal manipulation, where you lie on a table and orient your body in some uncomfortable, awkward and sometimes twisted positions, result only in very limited improvement.
